mmm....

poor animation, color scheme is hard to look at. Deep blue doesn't really work with anything. I cant really enjoy anything that looks this bad.

SeanAndSuch responds:

Wow. That's pretty harsh man.
The color scheme works well I think but to each his own.
You're the first person to ever comment on the color scheme so you get points for originality.

awesome

but i definitely think sound effects would be a bad idea

Surn responds:

Aye, the majority seem to agree.

actually like it

it looks smooth, i guess its a good start for someone whose interested in frame by frame animations. Shows us youhv got potential and a prety sweet lookin style. I hope nobody tries to read further into this movie (and deem you and idiot for making such a pointless movie), its just an animators exercise wich came out lookin nice, embrace the awesome simplicity people!!. :) Might I remind anyone who discredits this movie that not long ago dan paladin used to make movies like this , i mean particularily the one regarding a loop of a clown wipping his d*** around, and its still got a pretty decent score. Later on everyone realized he was probabily the best animator on newgrounds at the time.

jacobwillman responds:

Yeah, this is my first animation, actually. well, i've done some lipsync and a walk cycle or two, but nothing fully realized, before this one.

i'm so glad that you get it. it's a joke; a simple sight gag. also, thanks for seeing potential in my work. this will not be the last flash animation i do. i'm working on something new, and hopefully it's better than this.

mmmm

mmm interesting. has it got anything to do with anton G. Hardys work? Perspectives and the construction of consciousnes. IT WAS AMAZING

W-P-S responds:

never heard of the man

AWESOME

loved it... every bit of it. besides i think your voice acting kicks ass (it sounds like a mobster from the 1920s).

ZILLIS responds:

Wow. Now that's a compliment. Thanks for the score.

WOW

Great style! Music was awesome! the whole thing was put together in such a flawless manner that, like you said, reminds me of those movie remakes of old fashioned classics mixing new smooth styles with dusty fonts and brownish tones. Particularly, I´m a big fan of animations over layered paper textures. I think they look awesome and make great intros or flashy sequences (which i asume was your aim), more or less like the intro on "Catch me if you can". The camera flowed and the fast movements really work with this kind of style. Awesome work, though i would like to see some more animations with other untouched techniques and themes! Love your stuff!! (ps: the cowboy character kicked a**, though i tink it began to lack his cowboyish coolness towards the end)

AlmightyHans responds:

yeah he lots a bit of his cool while he was on the train. only because things were getting reaally rough. i mean if you can't shake off someone after jumping on a moving train, you have to think quick to top something like that. :P

mmm...

it basicly stands out for all the flashy lights and background music, but animation wise it consisted basicly of cheap tweens and fast looking two frame animations (like your smoke). Your walk cicle looked cheesy. I think you did a great job with the colors and all the backgrounds, and it would have been great to see some frame by frame animations mixed into all the great spects you showed here, or in any case just work on making your tweens look better. Storywise, i think it was entertaining. Great Job!

NightShadowTWO responds:

you got me you observant person you.

yes, most of the animations i did were cheap tween tricks thus resulting in a pretty unrealistic animation. (like how the arms seem to travel in only two dimensions)

Hopefully I will eventually be able to animate more realistically in future projects with more anatomy drawing practice (serious lack of that)

anyhow, thanks for watching! and glad you liked it!

meh!

the cat looked good... but it had no animation at all... it was was funny but still it has been proven that butter on bread does not affect wich side the toast lands on, thus it remains completely random... :( i kno you dont care

GermanSoldierLock responds:

:'( I've been exposed

cool

looks interesting... just you sense of fiscics is way of ... try making things fly in a coherent way... Try using frame by frame it looks alot better (actually if your gonna be doing madness based movies just stick to tweens)

MonoFlauta responds:

ok thanks

Kickass

I love oyur cliches... its kinda sin city-ish. Besides my favourite things is my favourite song, specially John coltrane's version. Make more!!!!

knobbywood responds:
